Snook Hit Shrimp

We went south today to fish for reds and caught everything including trout, reds, sheephead, drum, and snook. Pictured is Ed from Bartow with a nice snook. All the fish were caught on jig and shrimp. The snook were mostly in the 25 inch to 28 inch size but some I estimate that got off were larger. Today the largest red was 27 inches. These fish were caught south of Lostmans River. The waters started getting calmer and more clean and I think that trout will be a good bet in about 2 days. Ed and company came home with a limit of reds and some black drum. A good everglades fishing day.
