Reds and Trout are Biting

June proved to be a great fishing month. There are a few less tarpon around but are still plentiful. The redfish and trout have been abundant and the snook have turned on. Today, Sebastian (10yrs old), Maine, and his grandfather, Robert from Arizona, caught their limit of reds and trout. The largest trout was about 20 inches and the largest red was about 23 inches. Some fine everglades fishing.

Reds and Trout Jigged Again

Sounds like a broken record but the reds, black drum, and trout keep us busy every day. Hugh and family, LaBelle, got some fine eating to do. These reds ate shrimp and jig and the trout ate RipTide jigs. The reds were caught in the Rabbit Key grasses and the trout were caught on the big bank.
Another everglades fishing day.
