Everglades Fishing for Tarpon

Most of this month was spent tarpon fishing near the Shark River. We hooked and caught many tarpon all on artificial lures. Most were small in the 50 to 70 lbs range but some were brutes. All of the tarpon fishing was done in rivers, creeks, and bays in the backcountry and in waters less than 5 feet deep. They are still here and I am still tarpon fishing. Will have some photos but I try to revive and release them as soon as they are caught so the survival rate is better without photo sessions.

Good everglades fishing in May and June.
