Fish on a Feeding Frenzy

Low tide today proved to be a bonanza for Al and grandson, Brock, Tampa. They caught some nice redfish, sheephead, black drum, and trout. The trout were released due to closed season. All fish were caught in the mouths of the rivers using shrimp and jig. Pictured are Al and Brock with a nice 25 inch redfish.

101 Redfish Today

The redfish just kept biting and biting. Hole after hole the redfish were hungry and eager to put on a show for Joel, Eliot, and Bob, Marco Island. They caught 101 redfish and some sheephead and black drum. Most of the reds were small but they did manage to catch some keeper size. All fish were released. Pictured is Joel with a respectable slot redfish. The fish were caught on shrimp and jig near Chatham River. An everglades fishing day to be remembered.
