Everglades Fishing for Trout

Harold and Frank, Naples, caught a few nice keeper trout today.  The fish were caught on jigs near Rabbit Key.  A very tough day due to low waters and 20 knot winds.

What! More Trout Again

Due to low low tides trout were the main focus for Tom, Alberta, and he caught them on Gulp shrimp tail jigs. Most were caught near Rabbit Key and measured up to 22 inches.

Morning Trout

Ian and company, Boynton Beach, got their share of trout this morning. We were fishing near Chatham River and were using RipTide and Gulp jigs. All were nice size trout with few undersized. Another happy everglades fishing charter.

Everglades Fishing

Lee and Indi, Naples, got their share of nice trout, redfish and sheephead.  All came from near Lostmans River.  Extreme low tides this morning proved a challenge but these anglers overcame this and got their limit fast.

Another Everglades Fishing Trip

Charlie and Bob, Minnesota, decided to celebrate this 2009 New Years day with an Everglades fishing trip. They caught some nice keeper trout which made it home since it is the first day of trout season. Also, they caught keeper snapper and redfish, all near Big Lostmans and Rogers Bay. A good backcountry fishing day.
