A Cool Everglades Fishing Day

For today, Fred and family, Ft. Lauderdale, did it again. They caught many sheephead, redfish, trout, and black drum all on shrimp and plastic jigs. The redfish were either oversize or undersize. However, Fred was happy to take home some sheephead and black drum. Some of the sheephead were 5lbs.-6lbs. class and the drum was about 7lbs. The fish were caught near Chatham River.

A happy everglades fishing charter.

Christmas Eve Reds

A good day of everglades fishing for reds. Carl, Ft. Lauderdale, and son Kaleb, Dallas, got their limit of reds today way in the backcountry. "So far back you can see Miami". The waters were nearly fresh. The fish measured between 23" and 26" and were caught on shrimp and popping cork. They also went home with some nice sheephead.

Call me for an everglades fishing charter.

Doug and sons Miles and Ean, Naples, caught some nice reds, snook, and trout today way in the backcountry near Onion Key. Most of the trout were nice up to about 18 inches but had to be released. The snook measured up to 28 inches but the one in the photo was 29 1/2 inches, also released. The reds measured up to about 26 inches. The fish were caught on shrimp.

A nice everglades fishing day.

Snook and Reds

An extremely tough everglades fishing day. However, Len and Ralph, Naples, caught some nice snook and reds today. The fish were small but they caught their keeper redfish on live bait near Lostmans River.

Everglades Fishing Again

Jerry and company, Alabama, were pleased with some everglades redfish. Their limit measured 24 and 26 inches. They also got into some trout but had to be released since it is off season. We also spotted some snook but never had any on. They must have seen us.
