A half day afternoon of Everglades fishing proved to be fruitful for Sam and son Jim, Bonita Springs. Plenty of trout and some nice redfish were caught using Rip Tide jigs today. The trout were caught on the grass flats near Chatham River. The redfish were caught on oysters in the mangroves. Pictured about is Jim with a 22 inch redfish. Some fine groceries and eating. Break out the skillet. This Everglades fishing guide was happy today.
