Everglades Fishing Grand Slam

Not pictured above is the trout but this Everglades fishing charters was too busy catching snook and reds to take pictures of the trout. Everglades tarpon came through today with a nice 110 lbs. tarpon. Pictured above is the tarpon making for a move to the mangroves. Unfortunately the camera messed up and we lost the best pictures. This Everglades fishing charter had numerous tarpon strikes and I lost count after about 8. All were big tarpon some exceeding way above 100lbs. No matter, pictured above is a nice 34 inch everglades snook caught by Mike, from Chicago, with son Brian pictured with a nice 24 inch redfish. This Everglades fishing charter caught their limit of take home reds. The snook were too big or too small. An everglades grand slam consists of a snook, tarpon, redfish, and trout and we got em. What a day. The wind was howling at 25 knots but fortunately it was an east wind. We were 45 miles south of Everglades City in the backcountry and will go again tomorrow. The tarpon was caught on lures and the rest were caught on cut ladyfish and shrimp. Please call this Everglades fishing guide.
