Everglades tarpon are here! I did not take new photos of caught tarpon since it was too important to revive a tarpon than getting photos of it. All the tarpon this week were released alive and well. All were caught on lures, mostly yellow and red. These are musky lures. All were fished near the Shark River about an hour and a half south of Everglades City. Harsh weather did not stop the tarpon from slamming our lures. Winds up to 35 knots made for some interesting fishing. However, all fishing was done in protected waters. Some fine everglades fishing.
