Well, it's like a broken record. You go out, get some bait, catch your limit of some really nice redfish, all by 9am. Then, you go snook fishing for the rest of the day. Everglades fishing style. Tom, Palm Beach went home with some redfish dinners. All were caught with cut ladyfish.
Today, we did just that. Caught some snook, had some tug of wars with some really big sharks, and came back to my dock. The snook were caught with Storm lures. One of the sharks must have measured about 8 feet. Everglades fishing style.

Sharks, for Everglades fishing
We had sharks, sharks, and more sharks. Fortunately, no sharks got our snook and reds. Tom, Palm Beach, got some nice reds today. We also caught some nice snook today. Homer Simson was there to greet us late this afternoon. All were caught on live greenbacks and cut ladyfish. Some good Everglades fishing today.

Everglades Fishing Report
Today we fished for speckled sea trout and caught some on the flats near Pavilion. There were some that were nice keeper sized and some that were small but fun to catch. All were caught on Rip Tide jigs which were the 3 inche gray and rootbeer color shrimp. There were some nice 50 pound tarpon on the grass flats but were too full on ladyfish to hit jigs. This was an ok everglades fishing half day.

A Hard Day of Everglades Fishing
What a hard day. Beautiful weather and some good tides! Except this everglades fishing day took all I had to produce fish. We did manage to catch some nice snook later in the day. I had to travel far and fish hard to get them. Also caught some redfish and goliath grouper. All were released.
What an everglades fishing day. Please call this everglades fishing guide.

Everglades Fishing
Well, after some time of a "sabatical" from the blob, I decided to put a report on everglades fishing here. We have been catching some very nice redfish up to about 32 inches and some nice snook up to about 32 inches. The larger ones busted off. Trout have not been themselves but you will catch enough for a nice supper for up to 4 people. Tarpon are on the grass flats up to about 60 to 70 pounds. You may be able to find some small ones up to about 15 to 20 pounds in the rivers and small creeks near Everglades City. An Everglades fishing charters will net you some good fish.

Everglades Tarpon Fishing
We fished hard for tarpon. There were many in the creeks near Shark River. Plug casting all day long and few were feeding. Plastic was not on the menu. However, we had several strikes. Tomorrow I may try some live bait at the mouths of those creeks. The tarpon should be there.
Another everglades fishing day.

Everglades Tarpon
A very good everglades tarpon fishing trip today. All three anglers were 17 years old and all were into tarpon. Not 40, 50 or 60 pounders, but, 100 up to 125 pounders. The largest tarpon caught was estimated at about 125 and was landed in about 30 minutes. An excellent experience for a teenager. All were from Michigan. Only one tarpon was caught today, but, 4 were jumped, and I am embarrassed to say that I lost count on the number of strikes and rises. Artificial lures rule!
No photos today. Too busy to take photos.
