Great Everglades Fishing

Lee, son Alec, and Greg, Naples, went for some fine everglades fishing. This day they caught dinner which included redfish, black drum, and sheephead. Other species included snook and trout. The snook and trout were released. A fine fish fry followed the trip.

Snook and Redfish

Kevin, Mat, and Dale, Ft. Lauderdale, and long time anglers with me got into some nice redfish and snook. They also caught some nice keeper sheephead, trout, flounder, and black drum. The snook and trout were released. These fish were caught on jig and shrimp and also feather jigs. A nice everglades fishing day.

Everglades Snook

Lee, from Naples, got plenty of action today with redfish and snook. The trout and snook had to be released due to closed season. However, pictured is Lee with a nice 33 inch snook caught on a jig near Lostmans River. He and company went home with a nice bag of redfish, sheephead, and black drum. A rainy morning ended up with a fine everglades fishing day.

Snook and Redfish

The past 2 days were some good everglades fishing days for Eliot and company. Pictured is a 27 inch snook and some nice redfish up to 28 inches caught on live bait and shrimp near Pavilion Key. Windy weather didn't stop the good everglades fishing. Quite a few reds were caught between Chatham River and Everglades City, mostly on jig and shrimp.
